Review of Lovehoney's Large Classic Silicone Plug

Summary

The Lovehoney Large Classic Silicone Butt Plug is good to use as a dilator for girth training, stretching, and/or warming up for girthy toys, or wearing it as a plug for a wonderful full feeling! Nicely tapered body with a well designed T-base, but the bulb to neck transition is slightly abrupt and neck could be slightly longer for ideal comfort for wearing as a plug.

Pros: Good tapered cone-shaped design for ease of stretching.

Comfortable and safe T-base.

Neutral: Bulb to neck transition is slightly abrupt.

Cons: Smaller tip of the plug combined with the length and firmness can sometimes feel pokey.

Could not feel much vibration intensity when adding bullet vibe.

Neck could be slightly longer for improved comfort when wearing.

Verdict: Recommended, with a few aspects keeping it from being ideal. Good tapered design for stretching and girth training, but firmness makes tip feel a bit pointy. Bulb to neck and neck design could be slightly improved.

Design/Shape/Size

The size of the Lovehoney Large Classic Silicone Butt Plug is more for the intermediate to advanced (with 7.5” max circumference), not for beginners. While the taper of the plug can allow for dilating with it alone, for similarly designed smaller plugs there are the other individual sizes in the Lovehoney classic silicone butt plug series: the Medium (5.25” circumference), the Slimline Medium (4” circumference), Beginner (3” circumference), or its sister Booty Bound Anal Training set (3”, 4”, 5.25” circumferences). I do wish there was one more size offered to bridge the gap between the 5.25” and 7.5” circumference offerings, but the nicely tapered designs can kind of help mitigate that (for girth training at least).

The cone shaped tapered design of the plug helps to work up to taking this size as the increase in girth (to its max 7.5 inch circumference) is more gradual than other plugs that have a shorter, rounder design. One potential drawback of this plug’s design, is that the longer insertable length combined with the firmness can sometimes be a bit pokey when wearing.

It has a pretty well designed T-shaped flared base, especially for a budget plug, that helps improve comfort when wearing the plug while also keeping it safe and preventing it from being sucked in (which can be a major potential issue for plugs that have small round bases instead)

The cavity for adding a bullet vibe to this plug is a nice additional option, but I personally did not feel much vibration intensity when using a vibe with the plug. This may be due to the thickness of the silicone plug around the insertable bullet vibe, compared to toys with built-in vibration motors. However, it is an optional use, and keeps the plug more versatile and lower cost than an in-built vibrator.
