The pleasing purple Zest has a good chance to please you! Accordion base gives it a 'bouncy' thrusting in you with decent speed and power, in addition to relatively strong vibrations that can be separately controlled. For most, can get 'balls deep' penetration with the 5" insertable length, or additionally insert the large balls/knot portion if you dare! Remote is tricky to open but definitely worth the added convenience to control and pause the functions, especially when the Zest is inside you.

Verdict: Recommended, with reservations. There are some limitations to note with the form factor. Self-contained thrusting dildos like this will always be limited in power compared to having a separate thrusting base or full-on sex machine but that said, the accordion style base of the Zest tends to be more powerful than the thrusting dildos that have the expanding and contracting of the mid-shaft as the thrusting function. And as with all thrusting dildos or machines, the thrusting function is loud! But keeping those limits in mind, the Zest is a solid thrusting dildo in it's own right, with the added stretch goal of the balls/knot on it that is insertable!

We first used the Zest actually for pegging me! A bit unconventional use for this kind of toy, but we had prepared for a pegging session and decided to try the Zest that way. The suction cup base just barely fit in the built-in 1.75" diameter hole of our pegging harness, by gently bending the cup then slipping it through, and it stayed in quite securely. A ~1.75" diameter O-ring or slightly bigger would also work well. My wife came into the room and first marveled at the nice purple color of this new dildo. Putting on her harness, she joined me in bed and started teasing me a bit first. Then she got up, pulled me to the edge of the bed, lubed up the Zest and plunged it into me! This pegging session had been long overdue so she was pounding me hard and I was loving it, moaning with pleasure! Now for the actual functions of the Zest, the remote really came in handy since the Zest was inside me, she turned on the vibration. To tease me she would then turn off the vibration for a bit every now and then (didn't want me to finish too fast). The vibrations pulsating inside me, not super targeted but overall elevating the pleasure. Then whenever she needed a breather from thrusting, conveniently she would turn on the Zest's thrusting and it would take over for her for a bit! This really ensured my prostate kept getting continuous pounding, especially towards the finale of our session. I'm pretty sure I had a few mini-O’s throughout, then stroked me a bit for an explosive finish!
Wow, while not at all what I thought our first use of the Zest would be nor what the main intended use of it was supposed to be, it was definitely an amazing, pleasure-filled session! The accordion/spring portion towards the base of the Zest does make it bend downward more initially, compared to a standard strap-on dildo, but once it's inserted it wasn't an issue. The thrusting function of the Zest definitely thrusted back and forth in me a bit when she was standing still, but not as much as it would if mounted on a hard surface like a floor, wall, or tub. However, that wasn't really an issue as for pegging it was only for extra thrusting whenever she needed a quick break, as she would do most of the thrusting otherwise just with the added vibration turned on. The 5" insertable length before the balls/knot of the dildo was perfect for the penetration depth I prefer, and allowed her to go 'balls deep' in me. Longer penetration depth can be a bit uncomfortable for me most days, so this was perfect as with longer dildos during pegging we have to be more mindful of thrusting depth.
While pegging may not be the 'best' way to use the Zest, it is still a fun way to use it. For our other uses of the Zest more as intended, with the Zest mounted on a hard surface to experience its full thrusting, you feel more of its own power. With vibrations for foreplay, then start its thrusting to thrust against the G-spot or P-spot and orgasm(s) may soon be on their way!

The charging cord is the same DC pin type cord as some other EdenFantasys toys such as the Deep Rider and general rechargeable toys, which is always convenient to reduce the number of different cords needed. The Zest dildo itself is a pleasing purple colored silicone. The buttons light up when charging.
The Zest dildo and buttons on it were pretty straightforward, hold the power button to turn it on, then press the power button again to start the thrusting mode or press the button with the wavy symbol to turn on the vibrations. Either the thrusting or vibration can only be turned off by holding down the power button fully turn off the toy.
The tricky part was the remote control which was a bit difficult to take the back off, which is when I realized it needs 2 AAA batteries for the remote. Once I figured out the best method to take off the back of the remote to open it up, it wasn’t too bad. Shown in the pictures below: by placing my thumb on the front of the remote, two fingers on the back of the remote on either side of the ‘arrow’ symbol on the back, then push in with the two fingers and slide the back down and it should slide/click open, then the back can be removed easily. Definitely worth the effort, as the remote has very helpful functionality!
You only have to turn on the Zest with the power button on the toy, then the rest can be done through the remote, which is very handy when the Zest is inside you or your partner. Pressing the top or bottom button starts vibrations or the thrusting function, and holding down the button will also pause that function (then you just press the button again to resume where you left off!). Pressing the button again will cycle through the different vibration or thrusting modes.
The vibration intensity is concentrated at the tip/head of the Zest, with moderate intensity mid-shaft and a little bit of vibration intensity travels to the knot/balls at the base of the shaft.
The Zest also has its thrusting intensity/power as well, of course. Rather than the shaft itself kind of extending/contracting like the Deep Rider's thrusting function, this seems to have the motor in the big knot and more bounces up and down to thrust in you. I think this might help give the Zest more thrusting power in our experience, and while still limited in some cases, I can't imagine much more thrusting power being packed into the all-in-one kind of dildo than the power it already has (unless you get closer to sex machines with the dildo moreso attached on the end of a large, powerful motor base).
The vibration alone is not very loud, similar to other vibrators maybe like a 2/5 noise level, but once you turn on the thrusting this beast roars to more like a 4/5 noise level. Not discreet if you are trying to do it in secret, but great if you don't need to be!

Getting a rough measure of the thrusting/bouncing length of the Zest, it was somewhere around 0.5" of thrust on its own, which is not a ton, but enough to feel inside. Can additionally bounce on it while getting thrusted in to increase the total thrust length you feel.
If you can take it, the large round knot/balls portion of the Zest can also be inserted! I haven't been able to conquer it yet but have gotten part of the knot inserted. You need to be able to handle both a good amount of length (as it is 5" insertable length before the knot) and the large girth of the knot.
Don't be alarmed by the hole on either side of the bottom of the springy/accordion base of the toy, I have confirmed this is intentional to avoid pressure/air buildup inside this accordion/spring area during use. And this is separate from the electronics so you shouldn't have to worry if a bit of water gets in there during cleaning!

The Zest arrived in the always discreet plain outer packaging in the mail, the product box itself is slightly less discreet but not glaringly obvious adult toy either. The Zest box is simple but nice enough to use itself if gifting it to somebody! Inside the box is the Zest toy, remote, charging cord, and instruction manual.
