Appearance

Uberrime’s Vac-U-Lock Suction Cup has a clean and symmetrical appearance, the only asymmetrical feature being the “Uberrime” debossed on one side. The base has a partly rounded rim/edge that I feel tends to give suction cups good holding strength. It was neatly trimmed save for one small irregularity along the base rim (just below the Uberrime branding), though that doesn’t affect the use/hold strength at all! The Mermaid color is a pretty turquoise that has a shimmer or iridescence to it, and a swirled pattern from the way it was poured.

Functionality

The use is pretty straightforward but here are some tips from the process. Add a little bit of lube onto the Vac-U-Lock peg (this helps insertion and removal while avoiding damage Vac-U-Lock ports, especially on softer dildos), then push from the bottom middle of the base while shimmying/rocking the dildo to get it pushed in. Then give a final push to make sure the suction cup’s peg is all the way in/bottomed out flush with the base of the dildo. To remove, again shimmy/rock the dildo side-to-side a bit while pulling the suction cup from the flat top. Main thing is to avoid trying to push or pull straight out as that has the potential for damage and more so the softer the dildo is.

A couple things to note, being a silicone Vac-U-Lock plug versus metal, it does have more friction when pushing in, but this can also be a benefit for holding power/not rotating around once it is inserted (a little more leeway on the amount of lube used, as too much can cause spinning/rotating around, too little can cause too much friction during insertion/removal). Also, since the silicone has a slight amount of give compared to metal, it can be gentler on the Vac-U-Lock port and reduce the possibility of damage.

Shown here mounted on Uberrime’s Vac-U-Lock Suction Cup are Hankey’s Topher Michels, Medium-Firm (on the left) and Hankey’s Hentai, 75% Soft (on the right). The suction cup succeeded in what is probably the most difficult use case, suctioned to a textured painted wall hanging horizontally. And continued to hold up strong during use without budging! I mention the firmness of these dildos as that’s relevant for two reasons, ease of inserting the suction cup into the port, and how “erect” the dildos will be when hanging off the wall horizontally.

• A firmer dildo will be more difficult (still manageable) to mount on the suction cup, but could have more holding power (although detaching is not an issue I have run into yet, could happen after a long time if Vac-U-Lock hole has experienced a lot of wear). Firmer silicone also tends to be more resilient to Vac-U-Hole wear over time. It will appear more “erect” when hanging off the wall.

• Softer silicone dildos will be easier to mount, but can experience more wear and should take care to be more gentle during mounting. They will also hang down more when mounted to the wall, just due to gravity and less rigidity of the dildo (through no cause of the Vac-U-Lock suction cup itself).

As I may have mentioned already, the suction is strong! Held up no problem to yanking on the mounted dildo with it suctioned to a textured/painted wall, without budging, and to vigorous use. One minor drawback to note here working against gravity, is the top of the dildo’s base may tend to tilt away from the suction cup rather than sitting completely flush against it (as it would when mounted vertically on a stool, floor, etc.).

Packaging

As with all the packages I’ve received from Uberrime, it arrived in a plain brown box with a discreet sender (your friendly neighborhood “Peter Parker”), no indication of the brand or contents. The contents inside were wrapped with Uberrime purple tissue paper. Note: it was much neater than pictured but in my excitement, I forgot to take a pic right after opening the box! But to give an idea of the purple tissue paper that will first greet you upon opening.

I ordered the Vac-U-Lock Suction Cup along with a Double Sided Suction Cup, so both arrived in the same box but individually bagged with Uberrime stickers on the front, and their silicone cleaning/care recommendations on the back. It also came with their brand card with company details on the front, and more detailed care instructions on the back. And always one of my favorite surprises is the bonus miniature dildo/teenie weenie(s) they include! (I received one in this case, the amount of minis received scales with the number of items in the order).

Overall discreet and pleasant packaging that is not overdone, and with a nice mini surprise!
