Summary

The Njoy Pure Plug 2.0 is a well designed stainless steel plug that functions great as both a short wear time prostate focused plug, or a comfortable and relatively discreet long wear time plug (recommended with the bulb not against the prostate, especially if sitting down often throughout the day). The weighty fullness is a nice, consistent reminder when wearing it! The taper is sufficient for gliding in or out, and the neck is plenty long enough for the sphincters to rest on and hold the plug in. While the base loop is on the larger side and can be slightly uncomfortable in certain situations when seated, it ensures a properly safe base. The loop also cums in handy for manipulating the plug for any impromptu prostate massaging, or just for insertion/removal!

Pros: 

• Nicely tapered for both insertion and removal

• Great prostate targeting for a plug

• Comfortable overall for long term wear (ideal with plug bulb faced “backwards”)

• High quality truly stainless steel (316) plug

Neutral: 

• Thin neck relative to plug body (good for plug retention, not as good for pre-stretching)

• Size of base loop (good for safety, good handle for holding plug, but makes base stick out a little more)

Cons: 

• The large base loop can sometimes be pressed uncomfortably when seated depending on chair, posture, and individual’s body

• The Pure Plug 2.0 is pricey for this size of a plug at a current MSRP of $150 (but completely worth it if you can swing it! Is a long term investment in a toy if there ever was one)

Verdict: Highly recommended! The Njoy Pure Plug 2.0 is very functional for a more prostate forward plug and can also be very comfortable for longer wear. The only thing that may hold you back is the price, but it’s a long term investment for a toy that will last practically forever.

If the Njoy Pure Plug 2.0 is too large for current capabilities the Small, Medium, or Large with similar overall shapes (just with shorter necks and smaller loops) and 1-1.5” bulb diameters may be more suitable.

And here are some additional dimension details that I feel can be important beyond the overall girth and lengths! Despite a 2” max diameter, the bulb’s ~5.75” max circumference (arguably more important for knowing if it is within your capability) is due to the oval cross-sectional shape of the bulb (2” x 1.75”), instead of a circular shape that would give ~6.25” circumference. The oval shape does also serve for easier insertion and more comfortable wear, as it is a more anatomical shape that the anal sphincters naturally open for compared to a perfectly round shape. The neck of the plug tapers down to 1.75” circumference to allow the sphincters to hold in the weighty stainless steel!

As for lengths, from the 5” overall length, ~3.5” of it is insertable, and from that ~2.25” is the bulb and ~1.25” is the neck. The base/handle is ~1.25-1.5” length and 2.5” width (sufficiently wider than the plug body, combined with the abrupt transition from the neck and completely rigid material making it a very safe and secure base).

Appearance and Shape

Shiny, mirror-finished stainless steel toys do have a certain allure to them, after all who doesn’t like shiny things! Beyond that the Njoy Pure Plug 2.0 does have an elegant profile from the angular bulb and how the taper flows down the length. As I talked about briefly in the dimensions section, the 2.0’s bulb is a very oval cross-section shape for more anatomically natural insertion and wear. I couldn’t find a definitive answer for the flutes/scooped out sides of the bulb, but some explanations I was able to find (including some of my own thoughts) are:

• For lube to run through those flutes rather than all getting squeegeed off during insertion (can also benefit longer term wear)

• A bit of a differing pressure feeling as the rim of the hole is stretched at the peaks and relaxes over the scoops (I could not discern much of this compared to a filled in shape)

• And/or decrease the weight a bit while keeping similar overall girth without making it hollow, for easier plug retention (since if a plug is too heavy, at some point even the strongest sphincters may not be able to hold it either passively or having to actively clench, which is not feasible for long term wear)

Base

The bottom of the base handle has a small “njoy” engraved in it, serving to brand it as an authentic product. Compared to typical T-shaped plug bases, the Njoy Pure Plug bases, while similar in the sense of an overall T-shape that sits between the cheeks and long enough for proper plug safety (versus round bases), the bases also serve as a loop that 1-2 fingers can fit in to help hold the plug or pull it out. This can be a somewhat convenient aspect, to grab the loop to remove the plug without having to get fingers between the base and hole, or holding it by the loop for plug-fucking or more actively rocking the plug for a prostate massage. But there are some additional cons (and pros) of it being a taller loop versus a flat T-base!

The main drawback of the base being a loop instead of flat, is that the base sticks out a bit more. When sitting sometimes the base will get pressed more from the seat, and I feel it getting pushed in a slightly uncomfortable way. This can depend on the chair and sitting posture (and how big and/or firm your cheeks/glutes are), and I’ve found it’s not always an issue for me. The taller base does also make the Pure Plug 2.0 ever so slightly less discreet, which I talk more about in one of the next sections, but it is still a pretty discreet wearing plug overall. On the positive side of this, in certain chairs I can rock on the base/handle just right where the bulb gives a great prostate massage and will make me leak! (when the plug is inserted such that the internal bulb is pointed forward towards the prostate/belly). These aspects are really only related to sitting with the Pure Plug 2.0 in, and don’t apply to standing/walking around while wearing it.

Discreetness During Wear

The Njoy Pure Plug 2.0 is quite discreet during wear, with the thin loop base nestling between the cheeks. Due to the height/length of the loop though it does stick out a little bit (also what leads to potentially uncomfortable pressing during some cases when sitting). This just barely shows though, in one of the worst cases for discreet wear, shown here. Bending over wearing only relatively tight underwear, there is the protruding line between the cheeks that can be seen if looking closely (pointed out in the right image). However, this is pretty subtle and someone would have to be looking really closely and/or looking for it specifically (like I was in this case).

Packaging

Like other Njoy toys, the Pure Plug 2.0 packaging has a very nice presentation and premium look/feel! The Pure Plug’s box first has an outer, white cardboard sleeve with the Njoy brand name in black letters, as well as an icon of the Pure Plug on the side. Then the toy box itself is black with just the Njoy brand name in silver letters (a hint of the stainless steel appearance of the toy itself). Opening the hinge-like lid reveals the plug inside, beautifully presented nestled in pink velvet. Along with the toy is a cheeky sticker and Njoy pamphlet that lists some details/use inside for each of their flagship toys. Overall highly giftable packaging, whether a gift to someone else or to yourself!
