Get a grip (with your hole on Flint’s thick scales)
July 19, 2026
Bad Dragon Flint's thick and scaly design really got me interested in him, as I do love short and thick fantasy dildos with a lot of texture! A clear dragon fantasy theme in his design, in addition to the uncircumcised and studded piercing aspects (which are all really captured in his full name “Flint the Uncut Studded Dragon”). He has nice intense texture in not only the scales, but also the nubs that mimic genital piercing studs. The intensity of the nubs is something to keep in mind, as they are not as obvious as the scales when looking at Flint but I think can even be a bit more pinpoint and intense in use. A fun and pleasing fantasy dildo overall, as long as you’re prepared to get into his thick and texture heavy experience.
Flint is highly recommended if you’re looking for:
- Intensely textured fantasy dildo
- Upward curved shaft that is thick throughout
- Very thick for the length (made the short and girthy dildo list!)
- High-fantasy dragon themed dildo
Dimensions, inches (from Bad Dragon’s site):
Firmness/Material: Choice between Soft ('3'), Medium ('5'), or Firm (‘8’) firmness, platinum-cured silicone. The medium firmness I’d estimate is ~shore 0050, and the consensus among the community generally is soft is ~shore 0030 and firm ~shore 0080 when comparing to makers that specify shore firmness. But keep in mind, shore firmness can still be relative to thickness, components of the silicone, and many more factors. Somewhat more recently, Extra Soft (‘2’) is an option on their dildos, but this could be a bit too floppy until you get to the larger sizes.
Unfortunately, a suction cup add-on is not available for Flint (likely due to his very non-circular base). A cumtube can be added-on for any size, and a dragon mount (vac-u-lock hole) can be added on small size and up.
This review is based on Medium size, Medium firmness Flint in a rogue pour of dark green and a metallic light green marble. The closest named colorations would probably be “5th Kind” or “Green Dancer”, but both the colors in these named pours are metallic or pearlescent.
Flint’s thick, unmistakably draconic silhouette with the pronounced scales running down his shaft is alluring for a fantasy dildo fan and texture fiend like myself. Combined with a nice upward curve for targeting the spot and a stout length for the girth, getting him was a no-brainer!
Looking closer at the sculpt details, Flint has the uncut/uncircumcised appearance of the head with foreskin slightly pulled back. A slightly pronounced coronal ridge underneath the foreskin at the base of the tip is visible. Underneath the head are nubs that imitate some frenum piercings. Then going down the under (ventral) side of the shaft are of course the protruding scales/plates running the full length and giving that unmistakable dragon aesthetic.
The most noticeable details on the top (dorsal) side of the shaft are several sets of nubs mimicing top ladder piercings. As I talk more about in the texture section, these nubs can feel even more intense than the scales!
Flint is a very girthy and textured dragon dildo which will likely call for proper warm-up depending on the chosen size, ideally with a less textured dilating toy (my personal favorite dilating dildo being Hankey's Rabbit). The distinctive texture of Flint when looking at him are the scales/plates of course! These are nice and intense. During insertion, feeling each of the pronounced scales on the underside of shaft me popping in as Flint penetrates me. Then thrusting or riding, the scales rub nicely inside for a bit of indirect P (or G) spot stimulation (when the plates are faced that way). On the way out the plates feel arguably more intense, with my hole gripping each as they pull around the rim when popping out. Makes for a great visual as well, in addition to the physical sensations!
While the scales are the most apparent texture, don’t underestimate the nubs (emulating genital piercings) under the head and on the top (dorsal) side of the shaft. They’re easy to overlook visually, but the hole definitely feels them! I feel these can be even more intense than Flint’s scales, they give the more pinpoint texture feeling these rub the hole entrance on the way in and out.
Bad Dragon’s Medium was a good firmness for me, not just for the plates but the bumps too (that I admittedly underestimated when just looking at Flint!). And since Flint is quite thick, he has plenty of rigidity for riding in Medium firmness, compared to thinner models that can be quite bendy at Medium firmness. Gives a nice intensity to the textures without being too rough for my liking, but I am a little bit of a texture fiend. If more sensitive to texture, then Soft (or even Extra Soft) would be the way to go if interested in Flint, or for those even more of texture fiends that can brave Flint in Firm!
Flint’s scale texture is also on the more intense side than some other scaly models I’ve used such as Twin Tail Creations Ember’s (pinkish dildo on the right in this picture) scales that have a more rounded profile. Flint’s scales are a little more pronounced and step-like making them more intense.
Starting with where the shaft meets the base, there are some deep-ish grooves which add some visual depth to Flint’s appearance, but can also trap a bit of gunk requiring extra attention during cleaning. The balls are completely smooth, opposite his highly textured shaft! Mostly providing extra space to hold Flint if using by hand, or mass to bump against when hilting him. Then there is an extra tab elongating the base, which mostly serves to make larger overall to provide a sturdy base for Flint to stand up and be ridden on!
The bottom of Flint’s base is glossy and smooth, with a relatively clean trim around the base that has just a few slightly irregular trim spots. There is some of the appearance leftover from air bubbles in the base, which is not uncommon during the curing process as any trapped air bubbles are drawn up and out of the silicone pour.
Flint is a highly textured dildo overall, so requires a little more attention for cleaning than a smooth or minimally textured dildo. Some areas have grooves to pay attention to like near the balls at the base of the shaft, but nothing too bad! Just soap and water is sufficient for silicone, but if you want a deep clean or sanitize you can boil in water OR soak in a dilute bleach solution.
