Appearance

The double sided suction cup has a clean and symmetrical appearance, save for the “Uberrime” brand debossed on one side. Since the silicone color has some shimmer/iridescence to it the swirling from the pour shows up clearly which I think adds some depth to the appearance. One of the cup edges is smoothly rounded from the mold, the other is partly rounded but trimmed off a little more flatly (due to the production process). The trim on this one that I received was very clean, and still had plenty powerful suction from either side! But reportedly, a few people have received trims not quite as flat and the suction cups may only work well in one direction with one side suctioned to the wall or surface and the other side suction to the dildo base (and not sticking as well if reversing which side is stuck which way). Although sounds like they still work well just not as “versatile” as being able to stick it whichever direction you want.

Functionality

The use is pretty simple, press the suction cup on the surface you want to mount then press the dildo onto it, or attach the suction cup to the dildo first then the mounting surface. The suction hold is strong! One of the hardest test cases for suction cups are being on a textured painted wall and even yanking on it, the cup didn’t budge or fall off (same with when a toy was mounted and riding hard). In fact if Uberrime’s warnings are right, it may even damage the mounting surface before it detaches from yanking! The right way to detach is to press and pop up the edge of the suction cup rim with your fingertip to break the seal.

The rims of Uberrime’s Double Sided Suction Cup (and their Vac-U-Lock Suction Cup) are more rounded, similar to the powerful protruding suction cups that are common for a lot of general dildos that come with attached suction cups. Versus some other double sided suction cups that have a more “flat” rim, that I feel doesn’t offer quite as much holding strength (can usually work fine on smooth flat surfaces but not on textured walls, for example). Shown here is Uberrime’s on the left versus a Deep Fantasies (unfortunately now defunct/no longer in business) brand suction cup on the right.

Compatibility

The double sided suction cup is compatible with pretty much any flat based dildo, as long as the depressed diameter of the suction cup fits within the base of the dildo (although even if slight overlap past the edges, still seems to work fine like with the Bjarg example below). Round bases like Uberrime’s Splendid are the most clearly compatible options, in this case the medium size Splendid (~2.9” diameter base) fits very well with the medium size double sided suction cup (depressed diameter of 2.75”). The “erectness” of the mounted dildo when attached hanging like to the wall, depends a lot on the dildo itself, both the weight and rigidity. In this case a dual-density medium sized Splendid is plenty rigid for its weight and stays quite erect.

Also shown here in the middle is how to break the seal to pop off the suction cup, by lifting up the edge with your fingertip.

The suction cup can work just as well with more irregularly shaped bases! On the left with Uberrime’s Bjarg dildo which actually has an undersized base at only ~2.25” width, but the suction cup still held it up fine. Then on the right a more extreme case with Bad Dragon’s Flint, a very thick and heavy dragon, yet not a very wide base in the limiting direction for the size of the dildo. For a very heavy dildo like this the base may tilt until it rests against the wall at the bottom.

Packaging

As with previous packages I’ve received from Uberrime, it arrived in a plain brown box with a discreet sender name (“Peter Parker”), no indication of brand or contents. Inside the order was wrapped with “Uberrime purple” tissue paper. Note: it was much neater than pictured but in the excitement, I forgot to take a picture right after opening the box! But to give an idea of the purple tissue paper that will greet you upon opening up the package.

I ordered Uberrime’s Double Sided Suction Cup along with a Vac-U-Lock Suction Cup, so both arrived in the same box but individually bagged with Uberrime stickers on the front, and silicone cleaning/care recommendations on the back. It also came with Uberrime’s brand card with company details on the front, and more detailed care instructions on the back. Last but certainly not least, always one of my favorite surprises is the bonus miniature dildo/teenie weenie(s) they include! (I received one in this case, the amount of minis received seems to scale with the number of items in an order). This time it was a miniature version of Uberrime’s Architect dildo.

Overall, Uberrime has discreet and pleasant packaging that’s a little more on the minimalism side, and with a nice miniature surprise included!
