Summary

Hankey’s Toys Kalib made me wonder why I’ve waited so long to try an equine-style dildo with an intensely flared head (well I do kind of know, because equine dildos tend to be long for their girth). It became clearer than ever why flared equine heads are loved by many with how well Kalib’s head milks the P/G-spot!

For better or worse, the sensations from the very pronounced head overshadowed sensations from the shaft texture for me. While I would like to feel the shaft plates more, I didn’t end up minding given how great the intensity of the head feels on my spot. I was worried the head would be too intense and feel rough or abrupt, but the rim of the head is more rounded rather than a sharper ridge. I personally enjoyed the open-ended theming of Kalib’s sculpt with just equine inspirations compared to a heavily animalistic equine sculpt, though of course this comes down to personal theme preferences.

Kalib is highly recommended if you’re looking for:

• A thick blunt head for an intense pop in and out

• The flared head also provides very intense and pleasurable P/G-spot massaging!

• Smooth lobed head to light texture down the shaft (veins, musculature, and ridges)

• Thick max circumference (head) for the length, slightly thick shaft for the length

• Theme more on the high-fantasy side along the lines of an equine dragon, some animalistic inspiration with the equine-style flared head

This review is based on Kalib in small size, medium-firm firmness, with a Vac-U-Hole add-on. I chose gold for Kalib's color with metallic color effect added.

Appearance and Shape

Kalib starts with a clear equine inspiration for the very pronounced, flared head, but the lobed design of the head and the rest of the shaft could be a fusion of several fantasies ranging from the animalistic to high fantasy side. The lobed head combined with the scales/plates down the shaft give me a kind of insectoid vibe, but the scales/plates could also be reptile or dragon inspired. I like the flexibility of Kalib’s design theming as it’s really left to the imagination what exactly it is, rather than tied to one specific fantasy. Or even if you don’t want a particular fantasy and just want an interestingly shaped and textured dildo (like I admittedly often do). However, if you prefer a clear fantasy theme, that aspect may not be as desirable for you.

In between the flared 3-lobed head and the scales along the lower portion of the shaft, there are some light musculature and vein textures going on. The shaft itself has a noticeable curve to it. As I talk more about later, the head’s most pronounced lobe is with the shaft curving “downward”, rather than being on the same side as the shaft curving “upward” (like many pronounced/ridged heads are on upward curved dildos). Kalib sits on a simple round base.

Texture, Feel, and Experience

Texture-wise the most intense aspect of Kalib is also the most obvious, the prominently flared head! (although not exactly “texture”) The head gives a great pop in and out of the hole of choice, as well as wonderfully milking the pleasure spot as the head rubs and pulls it when passing by (whether that’s the prostate/P-spot or G-spot, in my case it's the prostate). The head itself is smooth with a blunt 3-lobed design.

As for more of the actual texture, there is light veining and musculature from the top half of the shaft down one side of the bottom half. The other side of the bottom half has 3 ridges/plates. While all these textures add some sensation, Kalib’s prominent head dominates with the most intense stimulation and pleasure that overshadows the other textures (in a good kind of way in my opinion). The other textures still serve to add to the visuals and fantasy of the dildo.

I went with Hankey’s medium-firm firmness for my small Kalib. I figured this would help give structure to the thinner shaft relative to the pronounced blunt head, but I was also worried the blunt head may feel too firm and uncomfortable. I was happy to find this firmness worked out perfectly on Kalib for my preferences! The shaft does have enough structure for staying more erect while working on popping that big head in, but this firmness still has a little squish to it. It was not too firm for the flared head either in my opinion, gives it firmness for wonderfully intense prostate stimulation without being uncomfortable. Also, since the texture is moderately light on the shaft, these textures do not feel rough in medium-firm (typically one of my biggest concerns when going firmer, like with my much more intensely textured Hankey’s Hentai dildo in 75% soft that would definitely feel too rough in any firmer). Base Design

Kalib has a straightforward round base rather than a larger stylized base, more on the utilitarian side for strapping down or strapping on! Inscribed along the edge of the base is Mrhankeystoys.com site, in relatively small font so it is more subtle. The base on my Kalib appears to be proportionally taller compared to the shaft, versus the product images, but this is one aspect that can vary with hand-made dildos/base trimming. Other than the extra height to the base, the trim is very neat and appears perfectly smooth.

I chose to get Kalib with a Vac-U-Hole cast in the base for the option of mounting on any Vac-U-Lock attachments. As is usually a balancing act with firmness choice, I chose medium-firm to give more structure in the thinner shaft even when the Vac-U-Lock hole is empty, but this also makes it a little more difficult to get Vac-U-Lock attachments inserted compared to softer firmness. Either way, a touch of lube and rocking/shimmying/rotating the shaft back and forth while gently pushing in the Vac-U-Lock attachment’s peg is the best way I’ve found to get it attached. Production Time and Packaging

As with any custom made-to-order dildos, there will be some production time for them to be made before shipping to you! Hankey's Toys lists 8-16 business days for production as their standard leadtime in the FAQ. I was also sent a follow-up email after the order was placed with a current leadtime of 8-14 business days at the time (sample provided for review in this case, but followed standard ordering process and production queue to give me the same experience). Leadtimes of course will vary based on order volume, such as around Black Friday or holidays there may be much higher volumes, and on complexity of any more detailed customizations requested. For me it was right on the 8 business day mark for the production to be finished and shipped out! (placed September 21, 2026 and shipped out Oct 1, 2026)

The packaging from Hankey’s is discreet and straightforward. The outer package is a plain brown box with the sender listed as non-descript “Shipping Dept”. Inside the box, the toys are protected by air bubble cushioning and individually wrapped in plastic, in addition to a packing slip.
