The Lovehoney Crotchless Deep Plunge Red Lace Teddy Lingerie was the first piece my partner’s tried from Lovehoney’s lingerie collection, she (and I) fell in love with it! This really got my partner into body suit style lingerie which she feels very confident in and will be a lovely deal for me getting to see her in all her next pieces of lingerie. But I digress, back to this piece of lingerie.
The lace fabric feels of solid quality (time will tell how well it holds up) and is very comfortable, so much so my partner will wear it around all day as she would pajamas, huge bonus, tease, and a great visual treat for me! The crotchless design adds nice functionality for sex while still wearing it, without having to move anything to the side (although sometimes that can be fun in its own right). And most importantly, not only do I love the way my partner looks in it, she loves the way she looks in it!! After all, confidence is sexy and her feeling confident makes it even sexier.
Verdict: Highly recommended! Feels of solid quality yet affordable, looks and feels great, and the added functionality of the crotchless design for sex is a nice plus.

The Lovehoney Crotchless Deep Plunge Red Lace Teddy Lingerie is a bodysuit style of lingerie, and the red lace fabric has a mildly floral design pattern overall. The product page does have an example of a model wearing the lingerie, so that helps a lot in getting an idea of how it looks when worn. (This is not the case for all their pieces, such as the LHM Stipe Mesh Open Back Boxer Shorts I recently reviews as well, I was happy to “model” myself for that review). That said, my partner was also happy to do a bit of modeling for me for this review! (well, and kind of in general to show off her look with it to me, which was of course one of my motivations for selecting it for her in the first place!) Those pictures are later in this section to give an idea of the fit on another individual’s body type.
For the look in general, this red lace teddy lingerie has a deep V “neckline” that really goes about to the waistline. Then from the waist to the crotch is mostly “covered” until getting to the crotchless part, which for my partner covered her clit but left the vagina open which is one of the draws for a crotchless piece after all! It was easy enough to still access the clit by sliding fingers or a toy right underneath that section of lace. Two adjustable-loop straps go from the start of the crotchless part, between the legs and over the butt to connect to the backside of the lace right behind the hips.
The backside of this lingerie piece is much more open and revealing! The lace only covers from part of the hip and part of the lower back, meeting with a string tie in the middle of the lower back. There is one more string tie around the back of the neck to secure and adjust the fit of the bodysuit, with the rest of the backside from the upper back to the butt and legs openly revealed.
Now here’s how this piece fits and looks on my partner. It was a very flattering fit in my opinion, and arguably just as important if not more so, in her opinion as well! After all, confidence is sexy, so her feeling confident wearing this piece makes it even sexier overall. The deep V plunging neckline that goes down to the waist does a great job of falling along and highlighting her cleavage, while just slightly revealing the nipples through the lace (blurred out here, you know, for review purposes). Then from the waistline down to just above the hips the lace covers the tummy and provides some contouring there. Then, of course, the crotchless part (not shown here…) as I mentioned earlier leaves open access to the vagina and slightly covers her clit! The backside is pretty much fully open leaving access to the rear.
Another huge bonus was just how comfortable she found this lingerie! Some lingerie can be more form over function, in the sense of focusing on looking good but not necessarily as comfortable. This piece managed to do both, and I wasn’t expecting just how well it would do so, she finds it so comfortable she’ll regularly wear it around the house for most of the day. A huge visual bonus for me and an exciting tease until I can’t wait anymore and we make love!! (and can easily keep the lingerie on during the lovemaking, due to it being crotchless and all…)

The care instructions for the Lovehoney Crotchless Deep Plunge Red Lace Teddy Lingerie recommend hand wash and air dry like other lingerie or delicates. I’d suggest following the air dry instruction for sure, as for washing if your washing machine has a “hand wash” setting, or wash it on “delicate” cycle (inside a mesh bag for extra protection, if you want to be cautious) should be fine! Note of course, the rougher the wash method, may shorten the lifespan of the garment.

As is typical in my experience with Lovehoney packages, it arrived in a plain brown cardboard box. With the sender listed relatively inconspicuously as “LH Trading”. Then the packaging for the underwear was just a clear sealed plastic bag, similar to other online clothes orders/deliveries. If you need to first try it on for fit, wear your own under-underwear and leave the return tag on the lingerie.
